Still know nothing, but here’s some spooky science

In 100, by Montana on November 12, 2018 at 12:11 pm

Einstein called it “spooky action at a distance.”

Quantum entangled particles are linked so that actions performed on one instantaneously affect the other, even when separated by large distances.

This gives way to the possibility of quantum computing, communication, teleportation, and other spooky potentialities.

Since measuring the features of one particle will instantly steer the other into a corresponding state, scientists refrain from measuring these properties to preserve quantum uncertainty.

The key to avoiding odd effects in happenstances of temporal separation is to accept that it’s only a “frame-specific property,” or an option among multiple alternative but equally viable states.

  1. spooky Einstein will be next year’s Halloween costume

  2. does this mean luda knows quantum physics?!
