Unholy comparisons

It reflects everything it sees, like a freshly cleaned storefront glanced at from the street.   

It loses clarity when it moves fast, like subway cars that blend as they speed past. 

It lets things glide atop it in tow, like moving walkways that carry people to and fro. 

It comes in as many shades as your imagination contains, like a mood ring on a breezy day. 

It foams when it gets pushed around, like the egg white froth in the cocktail I just downed. 

It glimmers subtlety in the moonlight, like a beaded dress shimmying for yet another neon night.
