The older generation has always complained about the younger one. In every era, in every country, there has been a common belief that a certain well of human virtue is running dry. However, we observe the opposite. The transcendentalist sentiment of the “arc of the moral universe,” holds true. Biology echoes through consciousness. In their own lives, memories of youth before responsibility yield before a future where the only certainty is personal apocalypse. It’s getting darker outside, dear reader, but whose story is being told? The noblest within us has always been the choice to speak truth to authority.

  1. Man. We all got winter on the brain. But I’m out in CA and I feel warm and fantastic!

  2. You’re the only person who uses “dear reader” in a way I can get on board with

  3. I’ve been observing the opposite in the older generation lately. Comments like, well, we didn’t know what we were doing, and we really screwed it up, and hopefully you guys can figure out how to fix it… Definitely still hear what you’re saying as well, the well of human virtue running dry.
