Dear potential All of 100 writer

At it’s core, the decision to communicate anything is pretentious insofar as it assumes that your ideas are worthy of someone else’s consideration. Furthering this notion is the written word, which has a stigma of pretentiousness spanning millenia as elite scholars were the only who could partake.

In this project we all grapple on a regular basis with coming off as pretentious. But over time we’ve been externally validated to the degree that we feel our ideas must in fact resonate with someone out there! You aren’t pretentious and neither will be your writing. You’re humble, which is the problem.
