The Leopard Lady

And like clockwork, there she was. Sitting on the bench was the Leopard Lady.

Leopard pantsuit, leopard sunglasses, leopard scarf, leopard belt. Vicious eyes set into a chiseled marble face. She took out her leopard cigarette case, pinched out a supple smoke, and used it to plug the hole in between her tightly pursed lips.

A young boy wandered out of the boring suit store nearby and walked towards her. She regarded him disdainfully. He stopped a foot away, and reached out his pudgy hands toward her body. She pulled back but not before he touched her and say, “good kitty.”
