Washington is under attack. They’re everywhere. Robust blackberry vines have exploded from every crevice of the countryside. But it’s OK! They come bearing gifts! The most plump, juicy berries just begging to be taken. Occasionally they’re sour, but most times they’re oh-my-god-that’s-so-good. I could live like royalty on these blackberries for the next three weeks.

Quetzalcoatlus was the largest of the pterosaurs, and the last to become extinct. It was highly specialized for soaring and gliding with a wingspan that reached lengths of forty feet across. Its long, toothless beak was ideal for digging mollusks and crustaceans from their burrows.
