Amanda sat, curled up in a ball on her couch, in front of the fireplace. She had countless days left in her vacation, and the skiing had been amazing so far. She wiggled her toes in the moccasins her boyfriend had given her last winter, which he got the idea for because she mentioned once that these were the kind she had worn as a little girl.
