Gramma’s Place

In by Michael on August 19, 2010 at 9:41 am

Amanda would think back to when she was a kid, living in Chapel Hill. On weekends during the summer, her parents would let her sleepover with her gramma.

She remembered how the bed she slept in at gramma’s had so many pillows, because at home her bed only had one pillow. Any way that she turned over in bed at gramma’s, a fresh cool new pillow would be there for her. The feeling was freedom, something she didn’t know the word for yet. She never let herself count the pillows, because as long as she didn’t, there could be infinity.
